What a week this was! I informed you thusly.
It began with very close friends coming to visit us. It was the first time that they came to see Prasanna after her father passed. As we grow older, we crave the company of people who we can just sit and talk to. Whose pain we can sit through, and those that can sit with us through our pain. There was a lot of laughter, lot of tears and some great food between all of that.
My birthday was very low key, and that’s how I wanted it to be as well - visited my parents and just went to office for a day of work. Ended the night with some good food.
A wonderful, warm and reflective 3SB day was also had. #IYKYK
I was in Bangalore for the Takshashila Policy Simulation workshop from Thursday to Sunday. It was a wonderful experience to be able to sit with like minded folks and brainstorm over how we’d like to design a policy around India’s AI Sovereignty. Lots of conversations, late nights and laughs later, we managed to come up with something that we were all happy about. The squad, and the entire cohort has wonderful people and the faculty were super warm to be around. Its so disorenting when boxes on the computer screen suddenly materialize into reality. I think I am always surprised by how short/tall people actually are, in real life 😁
Writing this from the train 🚂 as I am headed back to what I’m told is a very hot Chennai. Just a short update for this week since I didn’t want to miss out on writing it.
